The Eastern Sierra's offer so many things to do for everyone in your party.  Here are some of our favorites.

Fishing
- What the Eastern Sierra's are known for! Please read your reg's before fishing, as they change each year.
Upper & Lower Twin Lakes have great places for fishing, both from shore and from boat.  You can walk to the Marina on Lower Twin from the resort or hop in your car and explore both Lakes.  Bridgeport Reservoir offers great fishing in the Valley just a few miles North of Bridgeport.  Continue on Hwy 182 and you will hit the East Walker River which offers miles of great fishing.  Taking US Highway 395 North from Bridgeport approximately 15 miles will bring you to the West Walker River also known for great fishing.

Eating - When your on Vacation its great to let someone else do the cooking sometimes.  Here are some great places to eat nearby in Bridgeport, about 11 miles from the resort
Burger Barn - Best Burgers around!  They also offer much more including Mexican food and Tater Tots!
Rhino's Bar & Grille - Relax here and catch a game, have a beer or cocktail and a bite to eat
Jolly Kone - Amazing Soft Serve Ice Cream and a large assortment of food
Bridgeport Inn - Looking for a Steak?  This is the place to go.  Amazing atmosphere, great drinks, live music and excellent food, and even have Ladie's Night
Virginia Creek Settlement - Wonderful home-style cooking and some of the best Pizza you will ever eat.
Albert's - A great place to grab a sandwich and a full service butcher.  Stop in for something to eat and take something with you for later

Sportsman's - A wonderful Bar and grill with a great menu and wonderful drinks from the full bar.

Hikes, Sightseeing & More (Listed from South to North)
June Lake Loop - Located 40 miles from the resort, June Lake Loop makes a great day trip.  Here you will find Grant Lake, Gull Lake, June Lake, Silver Lake & Rush Creek.  Enjoy Fishing, Hiking, Dining, boating and much more!
Mono Lake, South Tufa Trail - Located 45 Miles from the resort, Mono Lake South Tufa is a self guided trail that tours along Mono lake and through the "tufa towers".  Its an amazing place to explore, kid friendly & has amazing views, especially during sunrise & sunset.
Conway Ranch - Located 23 miles from the resort.  Explore some of the original buildings still standing from the 1800's with great views of the valley. 
Virginia Lakes - Located 29 miles from he resort offers great fishing, dining & hiking.
Bodie- Located 29 miles from the resort, Bodie is an original mining town from the late 1800’s. What’s left today stands in a state of “arrested decay” and is maintained by the California State Parks System and volunteers, who took over the town in 1962 to make it a State Historic Park.
Green Creek Road - Located 15 miles from the resort, Green creek road makes a great day trip for fishing, hiking and relaxing.  Pack a picnic because your going to want to stay and fish or bring something to eat along as you hike to one of the many alpine lakes, such as Green Lake, while your exploring here. This place is known for its Fall Colors.
Travertine Hot Springs - Located only 12 miles from the resort, you will not want to miss the chance to soak in one of the most beautiful hot springs with the most breath taking views in the Eastern Sierra.
Buckeye Hot Springs - Located 6 miles from the resort, Buckeye is by far one of the coolest settings for a natural hot spring.  Offering many pools set right along side Buckeye Creek, you will surely enjoy yourself.  Please note this hot spring does require a bit of hiking to get down to.  There are a couple trail options to get to the springs.
Buckeye Creek - Located 5 miles from the resort, Buckeye Creek offers a great place to hike, view the wildlife and fish.
Barney Lake - The trailhead for this lake is located out of Mono Village on Upper Twin, just 3 miles up Twin Lakes Road.  From there you will take a well maintained trail 4 miles to reach this beautiful alpine lake with lots of Brook trout.  
Horse Creek/Horsetail Falls - The trailhead for this beautiful waterfall hike is also located out of the parking area on the upper lake.  Explore the 1st waterfall which is less than 1 mile up a switchback trail, or keep going up to explore more!
Walker River (East & West) - from the town of Bridgeport, you can head North on Highway 395.  This will take you on a beautiful drive next to the West Walker River.  The river will meet the highway about 27 miles from the resort and will run next to the highway for about 15-20 miles from that point.  This is another great place to fish and offers a lot of fly fishing options too.  You will also enjoy the towns of Walker, Coleville  Topaz along the way.
Sonora Pass/Levitt Falls - Take a beautiful drive 27 miles up highway 395 and you will reach Sonora Pass Junction.  This pass will take you to some lakes, streams and meadows where you will see breathtaking views of the Sierras and find amazing places to fish.  6 miles up Sonora pass you will have a view point for Leavitt Falls which is a multi tiered waterfall.  A little further up the road you will actually approach the PCT (Pacific Crest Trail) which is a hiking trail that runs from Mexico to Canada
Topaz Lake - Located 52 miles from the resort, Topaz lake offers fishing, hiking and also has a lodge with a Café & Casino.
